www.3-string-guitar.com Visit there and learn more about these guitars. I was watching youtube user rpeek (Richard) tonight and his ratrod videos and I was suddenly inspired with and wanted to capture a “visual sound”….I wanted to recreate his cool cars and an exhaust kinda feel and make my guitar sound like the looks of his car …I knew to get that rippin’ sound I would need a 3 sting because a 4 or 6 just won’t give me those long distances on my fretboard that I needed so I could use to get that nasal quality I was hearing in my head…sometimes trying to play what you hear in your head is difficult, epically when a riff just comes to you out of the blue, I wished it happened more often, allot of times my playing gets stuck in a rutt, anyways i just made up this little ditty johnny on the spot and uploaded it….it’s ruff and is the first take and just one take…what you hear is what there was..but man….sounded much cooler in real life….had my hair standing up…… I had the gain at 10 and my homemade muffy squawkin’! want to see more?? Just Goggle Red Dog Guitars!

Those may be old and rusty hot rods, but that’s some sweet soulful blues. Excellent work!

John, Love the video. The guitar sounds great. Huanting slide work man. I’m sad to see the cars going to waste. They should be on the road blowin smoke and scare’n women and children.

some of those old cars can be turned in to rat rods, good guitar playing

Dude I totally love your work.I’ve never played guitar in my life but after seeing your videos it really inspired me to want to build my own cbg and learn to play it.I am currently building it and I’m nearly done and a friend at work who knows guitars says it’s turning out great ,I just hope it’s going to sound as good as I hope it will.
